Gary White and Ray Brindley are more than capable of designing and producing you the ideal hand crafted cover to suit your boat and your requirements.
We've gone from making canopies and tonneau covers for fibreglass motor cruisers in the 80s to every type of narrowboat cover. Seeing the revival of the narrowboat manufacturing industry, we adapted our techniques to enable us to produce firstly cratch covers and tonneaus (or put to bed covers) and then the development of full pram type canopies for semi traditional and cruiser stern decks.
Now we're changing again
To answer the demand for widebeam canopies, we are constantly looking to improve our manufacturing techniques, upgrading materials where necessary and making changes to designs where needed, producing high specification durable covers for the live aboard market.
Please feel free to call us for a quotation or just some friendly advice!
Whichever type of cover you choose, we are confident that a new cover, designed and hand crafted by us will completely transform your boat!
All our covers are designed and hand made to suit individual customer requirements.
Our marine grade vinyl material
We would recommend a polyester based marine vinyl material that does not shrink or stretch, is tear resistant and has UV inhibiters within the material to extend its life. Typically we would expect a cover made from this type of material to last around 12 to 15 years, it comes in a variety of colours and is finished on the inside with a light grey finish which can be wiped clean. On the whole this type of material needs less maintenance than canvas types.
Our acrylic canvas material
We also use an acrylic canvas type material, which some of our customers prefer for its looks, however this type of material is harder to maintain and keep clean. It's life span is usually around 6 to 8 years.
